Most of them have been Gloss Black but I have seen a few that have been a Matte black> It think the current guns are a Gloss Black/Blue You can verify this at Taurus Call Toll Free: (800) 327-3776 Monday thru Friday* - 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM (EST)
